So you're an adult. All those years of sleeping on futons, couches and crummy mattresses are finally starting to catch up with you. You're getting older and finding it much harder to get a good night's sleep camping on the ground or on a cot. This is where the size of the hammock becomes really important. Ideally, the longer and wider a hammock's material is, the more you will be able to lie on a diagonal in the hammock. What this allows you to do is get yourself in a flatter laying position so that you aren't curving your back and hyper-extending your knees. Now I'm speaking your language right? The adult hammock is 14" wider than the youth hammock and because we use a wider fabric to make them, you don't have to worry about that annoying thick seam that runs along both sides of most hammocks, adding unwanted tension where your head and feet ought to be.
